For this assignment you will be required to read a critical essay the work of literature that we are currently studying. This exercise will not only broaden your scope of the work that we are studying, but it will also allow you to see how other people are writing literary analysis essays.
Specifics: Post essay summaries to your blog. Article summaries should be at least 300 words in length. Title them appropriately as we will complete more than one assignment of this nature.
Your response should include the title and author of the essay that you are commenting on. Look to answer the following questions as you read your assigned essay:
1.) What is the author’s thesis statement or purpose for writing the essay?
2.) What point or points is the author making to back his or her thesis?
3.) In your opinion, how well was the argument presented?
4.) Do you agree or disagree with the stand that the essay writer takes?
